Finding Joy When it Rains

It has been the most rainiest year ever, since we have lived here. Not since I was born. Having lived in Michgian almost all my life, I am used to the bleak, grey, cloudy skies.

As of late, running out side could get your drenched. Staying inside got you feeling trapped. It's only October and we still have all winter to get through!

I sat, quite drenched, in the drivers seat of the car wishing we (as in the boys and I) could go outside. Bummed at all the continuous rain, I looked up and noticed leaves on my windshield. They fell from their once hight and lofty spots, down to a new and lowly position. But unknown to them, they would have one more chance to shine before becoming worm food. They gave me a chance to give glory to God for his beautiful creation, the beautiful colors he gave us this fall, and that they were stuck, with water, to my windshield.

So, I took a few pictures... and I am posting one.
