Greetings all! I am coming up on my third blogaversary. I really do not deserve it because I have been failing at updating my blog. But considering that I have moved and have been exploring a new state, it should be ok, right? Well, I am going to try and become more dedicated to blogging on this site again... Lord willing :D.

I am starting a new project called "The Film Project". I have an old Yashika TLR camera that takes medium format film. I really want to use it, but not for taking random pictures "just because". I want a purpose for each special picture. I thought about it for a while, and I realized, why not families? So here is my goal...

I want to take 12 different exposures of 12 different families.. I have three slots already filled up. Does this not sound exciting? Here are the details I have posted on my facebook page including a great deal for a family photoshoot that could be done at the same time.

Film Photoshoot details

My goal is to get 12 different families on one roll of film. This is for free.

What's included? One image captured on film. The camera being used is an Twin Lens Reflex camera. This camera was popular back in the 1950's to about the 1970's. The film being used is black and white on medium format film (which is more awesome than 35mm film!). I will also be taking one photograph with my digital camera for free just in case something happens to the film image (i.e. a kid runs out of the picture or everybody freaks out because of fireants… there are no retakes with film!).

You will get one 4x4 print from the film and a copy of the digital print for free. Any other sizes will be printed at an extra cost to the family.

To Have a Full Photoshoot The family can opt to have a full photoshoot (digitally) for an investment of $77. This package includes CD with digital low res images (with logo). A High res CD without logos can be included for an additional $23.

The whole photoshoot will be done in Black and White. A color (digital) image can be provided upon request.
